New drug against premature ejaculation "shows" positive results

 
Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, announced that the drug being tested to treat premature ejaculation 'shows' good results in large clinical studies underway in Europe.
The drug called Zertane containing the substance tramadol hydrochloride, a widely used pain reliever in the mid 90s.
According to the announcement of the pharmaceutical company, the drug can be used on demand, ie before the sexual encounter and need not be taken daily. The company believes that it will soon be licensed for marketing in Europe.
Premature ejaculation is the most common sexual disorder as indicated at 23% -35% at ages 18-75, with serious consequences for overall health of a man and interpersonal relations. A large proportion are idiopathic, it is recognized that specific cause. In many cases it can result from hormonal disorders, eg disorders of the thyroid, the first symptom of diabetes and inflammation in the prostate.
